This particular instrument is made from some superb fiddleback golden koa. Neck is Brazilian cedar and fingerboard is rosewood. Bone nut and saddle, pearl position markers and pearlescent knob friction tuners. It has an oil and wax finish.

Unlike most koa instruments I produce this does not have that typical Hawaiian koa sound. This instrument is loud and yet mellow - almost with the timbre produced by fine mahogany.

This ukulele would work well as a strumming instrument or for finger style playing.
