Can't afford one of my ukes?

I took a long hard look at the acoustic ukulele market and figured out that anyone with the least degree of skill could end up being a builder: all you really require is patience. At the time, the only kit on the market to give you confidence to start this journey was a plywood thing. The unsatisfactory end result was poor compensation forthe underlying skills learnt in assembling it.
